1. How does it work?

If your booking is done and confirmed, our service will start an hour before your scheduled time to set up the venue. If the reservation is scheduled at the park, we will send you the exact location 30 minutes before your scheduled time. 

We allow 2 hours for each booking before we return to pack and clean up everything for you. 

2. How far in advance should I book a picnic? 

The earlier you book the easier it will be to plan your picnic. If you have a large party or themed party there is peace of mind in knowing that we can present a proposal and a quote to you. Planning ahead helps you avoid stress. 

3. Can we leave anytime we want?

If you would like to leave earlier than the arranged time, you may call us 30 minutes prior. You are required to stay in the picnic area until we can return to the location and pack up.

4. What if it rains?

When rain threatens an outdoor picnic, DPO can move it indoors of your choice (home or private place). However, it is always a good idea to check the weather forecast on your desired date, but in any case, we can issue a picnic credit (which can be rescheduled) if we foresee a bad weather forecast. 

5. Can I bring my own food & drink?
Yes, you may also enjoy your food and non-alcoholic beverages only at the parks, alcohol is only permitted during indoor and private picnics at your own expense. DPO also offers a variety of great food options, please check add-ons upon booking.

6. What is the cancellation/reschedule policy?

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other customers. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the picnic date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will incur a $95 fee. Cancellations made during the picnic date after our team has arrived at location will not get a refund.

7. Where do you guys host picnics?

We can host your picnic at a park, beach or any location (indoor or private backyard) of your choice as long as it is within the Toronto area. For any location that is outside Toronto, please feel free to email or call us to get a quote. 

8. Can I have the picnic for more than 2 hours?

Yes, for longer picnic times please see add-ons to select how long you want your picnic to be extended. Please note that you cannot extend your picnic on the day of the event. Additional hours must be booked the same time as when you book your picnic date.
